    "reactive": "Triggered by adversary action, performed under time pressure with a human in the loop. Degrades exactly when tempo degrades.",
    "directing": "Sets the conditions under which the other three operate \u2014 intent, priority, measurement, cadence, authority. Not a defensive posture in itself, and separated here rather than forced into one of the three."
